We are pleased to provide you with information
that should aid you in obtaining
behavioral health services in the Pikes Peak region.
 
 
Developmental Behavioral Health, Inc. offers a variety of empirically supported therapeutic services i.e., interventions that work. Our approach is best described as a simple, concrete problem solving model that combines behavioral and applied behavior analytic methodologies. This results in client or family centered treatment plans that are supportive and effective, while promoting independence and dignity.
 
Who do we treat?
We provide treatment to children and adolescents with a wide range of disabilities such as Autism, Aspergers, Mental Retardation/ Developmental Disabilities, Bipolar Disorder and ADHD.
 
What type of services are available?
We offer services in the home, school, and community as well as traditional office-based settings. We offer behavioral therapies for:
  • language acquisition
  • functional communication training
  • functional assessment
  • psychological assessment
  • toilet training
  • social skills training
  • empathy building
  • daily living skills and skills for independent living
  • behavioral parent training
  • community safety skill

 

In addition, we provide consultation, workshops, and training to other agencies and providers involved with your family such as teachers, paraprofessionals, speech pathologists, and occupational therapists to address areas such as behavior intervention plans, language acquisition programs, and training in behavioral principles.
